The SDA Letter Project exists to encourage genuine discussion and analysis of traditional Seventh-day Adventist claims, while exploring relevant Bible scholarship and historical context. This is a not-for-profit, volunteer-run project that is not affiliated with any church or ministry.
This Privacy Policy describes the information we collect and how we may use and share it. In this Policy, "we", "our", or "us" refers to the SDA Letter Project.
"Personal Data" refers to any information associated with an identified or identifiable individual, which can include data that you provide to us or that we collect about you during your interaction with our Services (including but not limited to device information).
"Services" refer to any products and services provided by the SDA Letter Project, including this website.

2.2. Payment Information
If you make a donation to us or some other purchase, we may collect data necessary to process your payment, including your name, credit card number, and billing address. We are not actively accepting donations through this website, so this section will be updated with more details if and when we accept online donations.
2.3. Information Collected by Analytics
We use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to automatically collect statistics on visitors and website usage to help improve our Services. This information does not reveal your specific identity (like your name or contact information) but may include the following:

We are not responsible for the content or privacy and security practices and policies of any third parties, including other websites, services, or applications that may be linked to or from the Services. We may share information in specific situations described in this section and/or with the following categories of third parties. We do not sell your information to anyone for any purpose.
We may share your data with third-party vendors, service providers, contractors, or agents ("third parties") who perform services for us or on our behalf and require access to such information to do that work. We have contracts in place with our third parties, which are designed to help safeguard your personal information.
This means third parties cannot do anything with the personal information you provide to us unless we have instructed them to do it. They will also not share your personal information with any organization apart from us. They also commit to protect the data they hold on our behalf and to retain it for the period we instruct. 6. Opt-out
Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems and mobile applications include a Do-Not-Track (“DNT”) feature or setting you can activate to signal your privacy preference not to have data about your online browsing activities monitored and collected. At this stage no uniform technology standard for recognizing and implementing DNT signals has been finalized. As such, we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals or any other mechanism that automatically communicates your choice not to be tracked online. If a standard for online tracking is adopted that we must follow in the future, we will inform you about that practice in a revised version of this privacy notice.
